All of us at Love Hate Tattoo are deeply saddened by the news of the death of Daniel Prude. Rochester is a city that is rooted in family, community, and looking out for your neighbor. Racism has no place anywhere, let alone Rochester. We are absolutely overjoyed seeing people from all walks of life come together for the greater good of the people but very disappointed and ashamed that this is what it has to be over. Mental Health or Drug Abuse is no reason for anyone to lose their life, especially in the manner that Daniel did. Since our opening in 2001, we have consistently been a safehaven for people in need. That still holds true today and we will stand with our community through thick and thin. Be safe, be vigilant, be heard. Love Hate Tattoo

Unfortunately, due to circumstances out of our control, The Roc City Tattoo Convention for 2020 is cancelled. For years we have always prioritized the safety of our customers and artists and at this time we do not believe that we can ensure a safe environment with the current state of Covid nor do we know what border control/traveling will hold for our attendees and artists that travel to our show. With that being said, Roc City Tattoo Expo 2021 is in full swing. April 16th, ...17th, 18th 2021 we will be back at the same location and bringing you the best and safest event that we can possibly can. Artists that were scheduled to attend the 2020 Expo, your payment and contracts will be honored for the 2021 dates. Thank you all for your patience! We will begin our opening process this Friday! We will begin by reaching out to our clients that had appointments cancelled due to COVID-19 in order. Please sit tight, be patient, and wait for our phone call. Walk-Ins and new appointments will be coming within the next few weeks. All of our clients will need to adhear to our new guidelines in order to keep yourselves and us safe as well as complying with local and state mandated guidelines. -P...lease do not bring anyone to your appointment. Please figure out transportation, if needed, ahead of time. -Once you arrive, please call us to let us know you are here and someone will be down to let you in. Our doors will remain locked to maintain capacity regulations. -Arrive as close to your appointment time as possible. Appointments will be staggered in order to minimize the possibility of contact with other clients. To help us keep up with that we are asking to not show up early or late to your appointment. -A mask that covers both face and nose is required inside of the building. If you do not have one, one will be provided or you appointment will be rescheduled. -A sanatizing station will be at the entrance of the tattoo shop. Please sanatize your hands and we will take your temperature and have you fill out necessary paper work. -To reduce the spread, for the time being we are only accepting cash, Venmo, PayPal, Cashapp, etc. Please make prior arrangements for payment and there is an ATM located in the building that is santized after every use. -Please keep food and drink to an absolute minimum. -If you are feeling sick in any capacity, please call us to reschedule. As you may know by now, tattoo shops have been added to phase 3 and our zone is set to open on the 12th. Lovehate will soon be resuming operations and we will be contacting customers to reschedule appointments that were effected during the COVID-19 shut down.
