It gives me hope to see the hopeful faces of my birth clients. Every time I feel down on the world or down on doula work, I work with a new family who reminds me that I enjoy people and I’m helping to create peace in my own small way. It’s a win/win.

I had the honor and pleasure of photographing a friend’s birth on Friday. Watching this mother labor and be surrounded and supported by her team of doulas and Midwives was a privilege I won’t soon forget. Thank you @thewendist. I hope I can repay you in pictures.
