Today is 6 months since I started on plan. I’m down 60lbs, I feel amazing and my doctor is thrilled. Diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and heart disease all run in my family. A year ago, my doctor told me it was time to make some big changes or I was going to get very sick. I knew I had to do something but didn’t think I could ever loose the weight. The true problem isn’t that I didn’t know how to diet. It was that I was always dieting and I never learned ...how to truly change my lifestyle and my relationship with food. 4 months ago, I was wearing baggy clothes to cover up a body I didn’t love and I couldn’t play with my kids without getting winded. Now, I’m comfortable in my body, learning to love my mommy body and I have no limitations when it comes to playing. I can even play twister!!! If I can do this, so can you! Today, I hit my goal weight!!!! In just 4 months, I’m down 50lbs! When I set the goal of loosing 50lbs before Christmas, I never thought I could actually do it but I DID IT!!! It’s so crazy that it’s been exactly a year since we celebrated Ella’s 2nd birthday! I look back and remember how uncomfortable I was all the time.
