I have more scheduling information I am sending out to everyone. Tuesday April 13th at 5:30 pm GRASSHOPPERS will have a parent meeting. You do NOT need to bring your child with you. In fact, we do ask that if it is raining, please leave your child home as we will have to be inside and there are a lot of 3-5 year olds registered to play. If we can be outside, children can attend. Grasshoppers supply list: Siblings can share belongings (they will be on the same team unless you request otherwise) Glove Helmet Bat gym pants (no shorts or denim) sneakers (cleats not recommended or required) Minors supply list: Siblings can share belongings (they will be on the same team unless you request otherwise) Glove Helmet Bat Sneakers (can be cleats- no metal) gym pants (no shorts or denim) We will supply team shirts and hats We are looking for assistance for teams, so if you haven't already indicated you want to coach, please let us know ASAP. If you haven't paid yet for any level, I will be at the center on 4/8/2021 out back on the field. I will also be at the parent meetings. I am also working at the center mon-fri from 9 am to 11:30. As long as I am in the office and not on the other line, I can take payments over the phone. You want to get in and get paid sooner than later so you can get your pasta dinner tickets. We need to know how many have been accounted for so we have enough ready for the dinner on April 30th. Majors Parent meetings will be at the coaches discretion. Please contact them for up to date info. The NAYS website is not working properly, so if you haven't done that yet, it is ok. We will let everyone know when it is up and running the correct way. Since we are finally planning Lyons Youth Baseball & Softball season 2021, we have a question! What kinds of things would you like to see served at our concession stand?

Reminder: all boys 9-12 years old should be at the center tonight for workout/tryouts. (Sneakers and gloves needed) The coaches miss you and want to see your smiling eyes!!! I will be there to take payments and give out tickets out back as well. Lyons Youth Baseball & Softball

Email that went out to all parents: Hello! Just wanted to give an update for this season:... I am back from my daughter's college visit so I will be in the office every day this week from 9 am until 1145 am. I will also be here Tuesday from 5 pm until 6:30 ish. Tuesday 4/6 is Majors - Baseball (only the boys ages 9-12) 6 pm at the center outside for ALL PLAYERS- workout/tryouts. Coaches will meet afterwards and draft. Players will be notified no later than 4/12 of their teams. Majors- Softball (9-13 up to 7th grade) We have enough players for 3 teams. Info on workout/tryouts will be released asap. Majors softball will meet at the center outside at 6 pm on Thursday April 8th. Minors- Play- Tues/Thurs Girls we will have 2 teams of 6 players Boys- We will have 4 teams of 9 Grasshoppers: Play - Mon/Wed 6 teams of co-ed. These 2 schedules will be out soon. Our goal is May 8th start day. Please don't forget to let us know how many pasta dinner tickets you sold, plan to use, etc by 4/28. Thank you for your patience with the start of this season as we learn to navigate through the guidelines.

Lots of ornaments still available. Please help us bring some magic to some lyons families. Ornaments can be picked up any time mon-fri between 9 am and 6 pm. Gifts need to be back by the 21st
