God works in mysterious ways. So here is my story, I graduated from skin care school in India around 2006 but did not get a chance to go further in that field. In 2007, I came to the US with my husband who was on a work visa (H1B) and I was on a dependent visa (H4).Unfortunately, the rule is that you cannot work on H4 visa. Hence, I couldn’t work and couldn’t even apply for any school here. I was a housewife and spent our initial years raising our children. In 2010, we we...lcomed our son and he brought luck for us in each and every way. We were financially stable and I could have applied for school but raising him was a full time job and I stopped thinking about myself. After the birth of our second child in 2015, the government changed the rule and H4 visa dependants could work legally but destiny had other plans for us. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we moved to our home country and we lived there for 3years. I opened my own salon which recieved recognition. In 2018, things changed for us again and we moved back to US. I was determined that I was going to go after my dreams this time around. In 2018, I graduated from a makeup school in NYC and in 2019, my dream came true. I joined Christine Valmy Skin care School. I was supposed to graduate in May 2020 but due to the pandemic I graduated in August 2020. My heart is filled with Gratitude. I have realized that if you go after your dream, build a plan, set deadlines, work hard nothing can stop you. I did it while raising our 2 kids. All this wouldn’t happen without the support of my beautiful family , my friends and my clients who always believed in me. Thank you! Love you all
