Indoor Flea Markets to begin 12/5! After much deliberation and negotiation, we received approval to hold indoor flea markets this winter at the former Tree Paad Fun Center building on Route 9 in Malta. (Actual address is 2381 U.S. Route 9, Mechanicville, NY 12118). This location provides us more than 20,000 sf of sales space, with 25 foot ceilings, a parking lot, restrooms and a snack bar. ... Of course, we will operate with a modified setup and COVID-19 guidelines to maximize social distancing. Modified Flea Market Guidelines Maximum of 75 Vendors per show Vendor spaces to be separated by 6 feet Maximum of 400 people allowed in building at any time All customers must wear a face covering No handling of items for sale. As we get ready for our first flea market on July 18th, we urge you stop the spread! The following modified Flea Market Guidelines will be strictly enforced this season: *Maximum of 75 Vendors per show *Vendor spaces to be separated by additional 8 feet *Maximum of 400 cars allowed on site at any time *All customers must have a face covering and wear it when within 6 feet of others... *No handling of items for sale. Vendors will pick up items for closer examination. *Try to limit restroom use and wear face covering while in restroom. Every other stall, sink blocked off to increase social distance. Restrooms frequently sanitized. *Snack Bar uses online order system. One person per party to pick up at snack bar window *Customers to discard trash into dumpster, trash corral or take it home with them. See more
