Our team here at Manhattan Best Dental Care is actively monitoring the information from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), as well as updates from local officials, and the American Dental Association regarding the spread of COVID-19. We wanted to take a moment to reach out and let you know how we are handling this developing situation. The SAFETY and HEALTH of our patients and staff is our top priority. As such, we are taking extensive precautions to establish our practic...e as one of the safest public spaces. All disinfectant and screening protocols being implemented are direct recommendations from the CDC and we will now be offering remote consultations for any patients who are unable to come into the office due to symptoms of illness or potential contact with an infected individual. We would like to ask that all patients and visitors notify us in advance if they feel they are at risk for COVID-19. If you have flu or cold-like symptoms such as a cough or a fever, newly developed shortness of breath, you have recently traveled to an area with known coronavirus or have been in contact with someone who has traveled or contracted the virus, please contact our office to reschedule your appointment right away via text or phone call. You will NOT be charged a cancellation fee. If you were tested for the virus and the results were negative, please feel free to keep your appointment. As a safety measure to our staff and other patients, we are unable to treat untested patients who present any of these symptoms. We require a two-week waiting period for an appointment if you have traveled to any area that has confirmed cases of COVID-19, or have been in contact with someone who is ill. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact our office. Our office is currently open with regular business hours and we are here for you during this challenging situation facing our community.
