From the Manhattan Church of Christ Elders, It has become ever clearer that the Coronavirus outbreak is getting more severe by the day and that large group meetings are one of the ways that it is most likely to spread. Therefore, we believe that we show real love and concern for each other by avoiding such meetings. With regret, therefore, we’re announcing that for the next three weeks we will not hold our normal worship assemblies or Bible classes. As that time unfolds, we’l...l have to evaluate safety issues in real-time and decide about resuming our assemblies. We’ll be sending out more information about ways that we can use online resources to maintain and nurture our congregational life during this time. We ask for your prayers for all who are suffering the physical effects of this epidemic and all the many forms of dislocation and hardship that it’s causing. Please pray for our sisters and brothers in our own congregation as we all have to navigate the danger, uncertainty, and fear caused by this epidemic.
