TO BE CLEAR: While individuals can and have reasonably disagreed on the interpretation of the statute dictating who can vote at tomorrow’s County Committee Organizing Meeting, the only official position of the Party has been to seek clarity in order to not run afoul of the new law. It is why, out of an abundance of cautionand to buy time until a definitive ruling could be issuedwritten notice was provided to all unique names from the 2017 & 2019 County Committee membership rolls. Today, we received judicial clarity in the form of an unchallenged Order to Show Cause and can definitively announce that the County Committee Members elected on June 25, 2019 will be the voting body at this year’s Organizing Meeting. Thanks to all who assisted in resolving this matter.
