Manhattan Jewish Experience

Dmitriy Salita is one of the best known Jewish boxers of our recent generation. He was born in Ukraine before moving to New York City at the age of 9. At the age of 13, he found Starrett City boxing club and went under the tutelage of Jimmy O'Pharrow, also known as Jimmy O. He received the Bronze medal in the junior Olympics and went on to win the 2001 Golden Gloves at 139 pounds. Tune in to hear more of his story with Rabbi Mark Wildes!
