Acclaimed cellist and faculty member Matt Haimovitz, will release a new digital album, Primavera I the wind" the first collection in a momentous series encompassing 81 world premieres for solo cello and perform this summer in connection with THE PRIMAVERA PROJECT, a modern-day collaboration of music and art inspired by one of the most widely admired and enigmatic paintings of the Renaissance, Botticelli’s Primavera and the large scale painting Primavera 2020 by contemporary ...artist Charline von Heyl. Congratulations to Mannes voice student Jongwon Han for becoming a national finalist in the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions! He is a first-year master's student studying with Diana Soviero. The Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions is a program designed to discover promising young opera singers and assist in the development of their careers.
