Mannion for State Senate

One tenet of a strong relationship is trust. I trust this man more than people I’ve known my entire life. A compliment from Mark Barbee is more than a compliment. It is validation that you meet his standard. Thank you Mark, and your lovely wife Joyce, for your support, advice and friendship. If times get tough, you want a man like Mark on your side. I’m proud to say, he has been there for me and my family, and I hope to be able to repay him someday.

On Halloween, I met with a group of New Americans, as we engaged with voters on the Northside of Syracuse. Shortly after, I spoke with Elisa Morales, Executive Director of the Spanish Action League, La Liga, during their annual, Halloween, food giveaway. Central New York’s diversity, has always been and will always be, one of our greatest strengths.

Conor Murphy is a colleague of mine, a Social Studies/Civics Teacher. He also holds the distinction of being the first student of my wife, Jennifer Brady Mannion. I also taught his wife, Stephanie Sauda Murphy. He not only teaches students (and adults) how the government functions, but enhances their ability to decipher misinformation and seek verifiable, unbiased news sources. While helping to raise four young children, he acts as an advocate for teachers to make sure they have everything they need to enrich the educational lives of their students. Thank you, Mr. Murphy.
