Some times I come up with great ideas. This was not one of them. . I finally received all the ingedents to restock our Scrub Cubes, which are a perfect example of one of my best Great Ideas. A solid sugat scrub that turns into a lotion right on your skin, allowing you to exfoliate and moisturize at the same time, while not making your tub ot shower greasy and dangerous. Shea and cocoa butters, what's not to like. . I know! I will make a travel version, so once people start go...ing on vacations again, they will be able to take their favorite scrub with them! And since I already have these wax melt containers, let's try these. . Um. No. It's darn near impossible to pop the scrub out of the containers. . My terrible idea is your gain, though. Because you know me, I hate throwing things out. I have 16 of these containers available for $2 each. I only have them in Oatmeal Milk & Honey (because at least I was smart enough to only make them in one scent). In-store only, sorry, I'm not going to add them to the website. In a regular year, I would have scheduled this post weeks ago, because New Year's Eve is our jam and at I would normally have an entire house and yard full of people at this point. I start planning the menu the minute Christmas is over (check out my New Year's Eve board on Pinterest!) and start cooking at least 3 days ahead. There would be teenagers in one room with the video games, cigars and scotch in the bar shed, mud around the fire pit, and about 17 empty butter boxes i...n the trash because I've cooked enough food for all of Martinsville. 2020 had other ideas. We had already planned to skip our party so the husband could use up his vacation time doing some much needed work in the kitchen. Then November came, and we had COVID. And with Talia still in the hospital (but moving to rehab next week!), here I am at 10 pm on the couch with my dogs, writing social media posts. Through it all, we never gave up hope. Now here we are on the cusp of a new year, and while I am not a fan of resolutions, I can say that there's some interesting things already in the works, and I'm not looking backwards, only forwards! My deepest thanks to all of you who stood by me and my family this year, who ordered online for pickup orders during the lockdown, who suffered through my weird clipboard system once the store reopened, who were so patient when my family had to go into quarantine the same week of the Holiday product release, who prayed/sent reiki/good juju/dropped off food at our house during the darkest 27 days of our lives while Talia was intubated, and who were understanding when the shelves were bare of your favorite products during the holiday season. My customers are the most amazing, beautiful people, and I am so very grateful for you all. It's Christmas Week! And here are our hours for the week: Monday - Wednesday 11 am to 5 pm (Yes, today is the mythical "only Monday we are ever open"!) Christmas Eve 11 am to 4 pm... Remember, you can shop online any time and choose in-store or curbside pickup! We will be closed Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day.

Just a reminder that we STRONGLY suggest that if you are ordering online to have your order shipped through the post office, you order before December 10th in order to receive your packages by Christmas! We will of course still be shipping orders after that date - and the post office's "official" cutoff for Priority Mail is the 19th - but I am watching packages that are currently in the hands of the post office and some of them are taking 10 days to arrive. Hello, December! Our hours for this week are Wednesday - Saturday from 11 am to 5 pm. Order online for easy and convenient in-store pickup, especially for items we may be low on. Not only did I lose the entire month of November, I am still dealing with the aftereffects of COVID, especially brain fog and headaches. Because of this, we are going to run out of items (like Scrub Cubes, which we ran out of on Small Business Saturday). I have friends coming to help me make product, but it's still going to take time.
