It means more than most people would ever understand. About three years ago when I became lactose intolerant I had to stop coming here. There’s nothing worse than wanting to be apart of something, but you can’t. These dairy-free options make me feel normal again. I've been coming here since I was 16. My boyfriend had brought me here for a date and it was just the perfect spot. And then whenever there was a special occasion as a kid, we just had to come here and get a chocola...te bonnet. Every time I come here it reminds me of being a kid again, it’s so special. I’m just so happy a trip to Marvel can be apart of my weekend and a fun thing to do with my kids now. I think more people should make this trip a part of their family tradition and now that there are dairy-free options, I can finally make it a tradition with my own family. Now, my only question is, when will the chocolate dip be vegan? - Lactose&Gluten free LI - NY

There’s something about pulling into that parking lot in Lido that just screams summer. But, we still go when it’s cold out too. We even went during quarantine because quarantine sucked, but Marvel is always good, so we knew we had to go. My family and I have been coming here for 10 to 15 years. When we first came here, my Dad was raving and raving about these chocolate bonnets Marvel has and that we just had to try them. But, when I got there I was like, wait, they have pea...nut butter bonnets too? Now my go-to is peanut butter and banana and my sisters is chocolate and vanilla. But there was one time I just went rogue and got pistachio and peanuts which was also great. Marvel will always be one of the first places my sister and I stop when we get home from college and the spot we hit right before going back some traditions are just worth the drive. - Melissa
