At Massage Euphoria, my clients have always been my number one priority. Now that I am back Open, I am committed to implementing as many feasible measures as possible for your health, safety, and peace of mind. Here is what you can expect upon arrival to your massage: *Arrive 5 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. I will call or text you so you can be let in. *Masks are to be worn into the building. *Hand sanitizer is provided by the front door for both before and aft...er your massage. *At check in I will take your temperature and ask a few Covid related questions. *Patients must wear masks at all times in office except when prone (face down). *Facial massage is no longer allowed. *Usage of required PPE throughout each massage (face mask and face shield). *Changing of bedding between each scheduled appointment. *Increased cleaning and disinfecting procedures. *Limited number of patients each day to allow time to thoroughly clean my room after each patient. REOPENING MONDAY JUNE 15, 2020 As many of you know I had to shutdown due to the Covid 19 pandemic. Gov. Coumo has allowed Massage Therapy to resume in Phase 3. Hygiene has always been a priority, but now I've had to shift into overdrive. I will have to allow time to thoroughly clean my room after each patient. I have to wear a face mask when interacting with patients and face mask and face shield when working on patients. Patients must wear masks at all times in office ...except when prone (face down). Facial massage is no longer allowed. Patients will wait in their car until I call or text you to come in. At check in I will take your temperature and ask a few Covid related questions. IF your temperature is over 100 degrees, you will be asked to reschedule your appt. I've dropped the 24 hr. notice fee so please if you dont feel well dont come. BUT DO call me AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! A number of people have said they are not comfortable in coming back so soon. I respect that and look forward to when you feel safe. I continue to use organic unscented Jojoba oil but you are still allowed to bring your own essential oils, creams, or lotions. As always I work only by appointment. To date, this is by far one of the MOST important articles I've written. It's been just as equally difficult. Having a job that you love "shut-down" until furth...er notice and seeing the people you care about suffer is truly an indescribable feeling. You really can't tell one another "everything will be okay" when you really don't know that it will. The coronavirus pandemic has had dire impacts on the U.S. economy, delivering a devastating blow for hundreds of thousands of restaurants, stores and other small businesses across the country. The painful and uncertain impact of Covid-19 on small business owners is staggering and likely to be substantial. These owners, like many others, are being forced to take drastic measures to prepare to re-open, and many are fearful about their futures. Just a few months ago, business at Champions Fitness Center was fantastic. Everything was going according to plan and the future looked bright. Today, just weeks later, owner Christy Callahan finds herself looking out to an empty parking lot without any certainty as to what the future will hold. Since 1990, Champions has been providing health and wellness services to the Syracuse community. Known for its friendly staff and countless amenities, Champions Fitness Center has many patrons who have been a part of the gym’s family for years. For many, the gym is an escape from the daily grind - the stresses of everyday life. Many people depend on that daily workout to maintain their mental and physical well-being. Christy says she is very concerned about the economic impact of COVID-19 and she is still stunned by the magnitude this pandemic has had on our country, our community, and our club. She wants you all to know that we will take it day by day, continue to monitor things closely, and make adjustments as needed based on what we are faced with. Customers have been contacting her daily asking when they will be able to come back. Unfortunately, the only thing she can do to ease their stress is listen to their concerns, freeze membership dues, and send up to date re-opening notices. I, along with the rest of the staff would like to Thank Christy Callahan for all of her hard work during this time! There is not enough credit I can give to this woman as I watch her consistently give everything she has to get us all back to "Our Home." We are so lucky to have her as a owner, boss and friend.
