The sixth reason to visit Massawepie in the wintertime would be to visit The Wild Center. They have an AMAZING outdoor walk that towers 40ft above the ground! Giving you a birds eyeview of the Adirondacks! Edit: Pictures are used from previous MAC Challenge years. In memory of this event we are encouraging you to visit Massawepie during the Winter months on your own adventures. The Wild Center is only opened outdoors, reservations need to be made, mask wearing and social distancing should be followed! https://www.wildcenter.org

A foutth reason to stay at Massawepie this Winter: ICE SKATING! Please check ice conditions with the Ranger before adventuring on! Camp is a short drive to Lake Placid where the Olympic Center Oval is open to the public as well. If ice is not your thing, bring brooms and a dodge ball and play some good old fashion broom ball in the parade field!
