Support the expansion of our center: https://massic.org/expansion-donate/ Thanks to your generous donations to our MAS Staten Island Center, we have purchased the lot next door, completed the design of the new building with the Architect Firm, applied for permits to begin construction, and we are planning to break ground right after Ramadan when we receive remaining permits InshaAllah. Our goal is to build a 6 times larger and modern state-of-the-art center to serve the commu...nity for generations and decades to come. Over 700 people are currently praying in our center, even during the COVID-19 pandemic - we hold 4 Jummuah prayers and 2 Taraweeh sessions in our parking lot to accommodate. Imagine how many more people we would be able to welcome with a larger space. The reward of every prayer made will go to all those who have been generous in donating to this much-needed cause. Placing labels on an individual can cause shame and stigma, which can lead to a negative self image. Compiled is a list of a few words to avoid and replace instead.
