Maximum Power Park

I can't even take much more. There is such an abundance of people who complain about the price of admission at mud parks. They have zero idea on the cost of ...operation. Their biggest gripe is why do I have to pay $60 for a weekend pass if I can only stay one day? Why don't you offer a Saturday $20 pass? I'll tell you why...... Because it's impossible to trust the general public anymore! We can not be sure that if we let 4 of you in one vehicle in that all 4 of you leave by the end of the day, stop suggesting wristband colors, we know we've tried. You can not inspect everyone, at night, with long sleeves etc.. Most of the country is doing the same program unless it does have a specific parking lot and divided spectator area. Parks that are open to explore are forced to use this program due to the abuse of people not leaving. $60 for 3 days of events and camping is cheap! Try to book a hotel room for 1 night. Try to buy lumber, $60 gets you 3) 2x8x10s $60 gets you a 30 rack a bottle of vodka and a mixer and maybe the ice, the majority of you have more than that in your cooler. $60 gets 3/4 of a tank of fuel in a full size truck! We spend more than you could imagine to put on an event which is always a total gamble. Especially these days We spend countless hours responding to the same question asked by 30 different people who won't back read the post before typing, most of the questions are answered right on the flyer. We spend countless hours prepping for your arrival and safe entertainment and for the most part our prices are the only thing in this economy that doesn't go up year after year. I wouldn't want to do anything else in life but what I do, but damn if I'm so over those complaints. Should have put some of that stimy aside. Then there's the a-holes trying to rip you off by selling you their fake tickets they can no longer use..... We generally only sell them at the gate and if by chance you can get them in advance they are not transferable or refundable. I know I probably sound all pissy but I assure you I'm just sharing a common frustration and I and most park owners and promoters have nothing but tolerance, love and respect for everyone in this industry/sport. Attention all MPP guests and participants! We have received a call from the state with an immediate cease and desist order for this years event. Unfortunately, at this time, Maximum Power Park 2020 is officially CANCELLED.... We waited as long as possible and did literally everything we could but we cannot and will not go ahead with the event and jeopardize the future of Maximum Power Park. We are working diligently to try and find another time or date that we can host an event. This all hinges on the states reopening plan and the current state of today's issues. All current ticket sales have been stopped. If you have already purchased a ticket, it will be honored for any future event at MPP. We are just as upset as all of you, trust me. We cannot get around this by calling it a "protest" or "religious" gathering as it would be irresponsible and again, jeopardize the future of our park. We have been doing this for 11 years, let's make it 12!

Hey everyone! Many of you have reached out to us in regards if MPP2020 is still on for july. We are working diligently with state and local authorities to ensure the possibility of the event as well as the safety of our guests. We are working every single day to try and make this happen. ... As of now, MPP2020 is not cancelled. However, because of the size of the event, we are in a different category as far as opening up and we are trying to comply as are other events across NY and America as a whole. In the event of a cancellation, we will be rescheduling the event as well as honoring all tickets sold to be used at ANY future event. Please keep watching for more details and announcements. So looks like I'm changing the name of the tour,....... After much consideration and deliberation the park owners and myself have had to make some adjustments. ...We have all decided that even if the government restrictions are lifted April 30- May 4 as predicted that we will more than likely still have heavy restrictions on mass gatherings. We have also put the love of our community and it's health and safety at the forefront of these decisions. As you can see there are events we are NOT CANCELLING but POSTPONING. Please understand this is very tough on us and that I will be working closely to pick new dates as soon as humanly possible (mote than likely October-December) with not only these park owners, but with all park owners, promoters, race series and trucks gone wild. So that we can do our best to provide as many events as we can in the limited time we will have to work with. In the meantime, I sincerely wish you and your loved ones good health and stability through these troubled times. I am very much looking forward to seeing you all again, doing what we love, sooner than later if possible. Please stay mentally positive my friends. Much love and respect. See more
