Mind Body Move 05.06.2021

If you’re suffering from brain fog, low energy or emotional ups and downs there can be several reasons. Yet there is one large reason that stands out above many others. I’ve seen this time and time again with clients.... It’s one of the most overlooked issues that also happens to be fairly simple to resolve IF you know how to approach it. It is also something that compounds the effects of other stressors, both internal and external. Aside from only experiencing brain fog or energy issues this can also lead to digestive problems, chronic pain, vision problems and much, much more. So, you’re probably wondering Ok Chris, what exactly is this problem?! Just tell me already! Ok. Ok. I’ll tell you. This one major cause of brain fog, low energy, emotional ups and downs and much more is: Concussions Now many may think reading this that they haven’t had one or that this stuff is reserved for athletes or major accidents. I have news for you. That simply isn’t true. You can get a concussion from a simple, yet relatively hard, bump on the head, from your neck jerking slightly and many other potential implications. If you have any energy issues or health issues this is a great spot to look at as part of healing that for good. I have yet to see a client who didn’t have concussion stuff that we needed to work on which greatly impacted their overall well being and often only took minutes to resolve. But it’s also really not about the concussion. What it’s really about is the impact to your brain and nervous system and it not bouncing back. It can leave you in a state of perpetual fight or flight or even freeze. So how do you bounce back if your body doesn’t do it automatically? You learn how to reconnect with your body on a deeper level, with how it moves, how it feels. One way to do this is through what I call Somatic Mapping. This a general tool you can use to restore overall safety in the body and nervous system. This process involves 3 pretty simple steps. 1. Close your eyes and start scanning your body from head to toe. 2. Look or feel for any areas that feel a) light, airy and open, b) heavy, dense, dark or thick and c) any areas that feel sucked in, void, disconnected or empty. 3. Once you’ve identified these areas you can now bring your awareness to the heavy and dark areas and the disconnected or void areas and simply connect with your awareness and even touch to the area. This is going to help you remap your internal network and will instantly be stress and anxiety down. This also has a cumulative effect and builds more resilience in your nervous system as you repeatedly do it. This is extremely simple yet super powerful. So make sure to do it. There is more depth to this process but this is a great starting point to get results now!

Feeling stuck? Unfulfilled? Like the creative juices aren’t flowing? Even better, are you experiencing physical health issues? One of the main reasons for this is unresolved & repressed anger. ... Whats interesting is thst your body is literally trying to show you what traumas and patterns your mind holds. Some symptoms you’ll find with repressed anger are: chronic fatigue depression anxiety hormonal issues fibromyalgia neck problems (usually relates to expression issues) Tight butt and pelvic floor muscles low back pain You will also notice other issues like: addictive tendencies inaction or too much action and overworking self judgement/self hatred Here are the simple first steps to resolve this: Start becoming more aware of your body, it’s sensations, what it feels like in different areas. Let yourself become fully present to what feels good, what feels bad and any other sensations going on Feel into the specific feelings of your current symptoms whether it be depression, anxiety, tension or anything else. Explore it with curiosity and discover what you see when you look inside that discomfort. start expressing yourself where you have been holding back in your relationships, business and all areas of your life. Let your authentic self freely shine. Explore any self judgement that comes up as you consider this. You can again feel where this comes up in your body and feel it to help it heal. Accept the anger, be okay with it, don’t judge it and simply let yourself feel all the negative around it. Explore the good around it as well (yes, there is good around these negative emotions) These simple steps can get you rolling and as you use them you’ll start noticing your physical symptoms improve as a result.#emotionalhealing #mindbodyhealing #subconsciousmind
