Cleaning Tip of The Day: 10/8/18 How to Clean Your Dishwasher If your dishwasher is anything like mine, it can get pretty nasty looking inside! Here is a great way to clean your dishwasher and get it looking like brand new with very little effort!... 1. Pull out bottom rack and make sure that there is no debris in the bottom of the dishwasher. 2. Place a dishwasher safe cup filled with white vinegar in the top rack. The dishwasher must be completely empty except for the top rack and the cup of white vinegar. Run the dishwasher on the longest cycle using the hottest water temperature possible. The vinegar will help loosen grease & grime, remove odors, and sanitize your dishwasher 3. After the cycle is complete, remove the cup from the top rack. Sprinkle baking soda in the bottom of the dishwasher and run it on the shortest cycle possible using the hottest water temperature possible. The baking soda will help eliminate stubborn stains and remove odors.

But ...I have not forgotten about passing along the helpful cleaning tricks/hints that I have learned over the years! So today I thought that I would post something that I thought everyone would find helpful! If anyone has any thoughts or tips you might find helpful or useful, feel free to share! Have you ever bought a vacuum and opened the box and saw that there were all these attachments and asked yourself What are all these attachments? Well, today you are about to find out how useful those attachments can be! Those attachments can be used to easily clean dust from blinds or walls or even dust from couches or other furniture. Most vacuums have stair attachments to make cleaning stairs a breeze! Start using yours all around those today to make cleaning easier and faster!

10/4/18 Cleaning tip of the day: How much should you tip your house cleaner? How much to tip is a very common question that I get asked. First and foremost, tipping is a monetary reward for a job performed above and beyond ordinary standards. It is not mandatory and should give at your comfortability. Typically tipping for a one-time house cleaning is between $10-$20. If you have some type of recurring cleaning service, you can tip once year. Usually this occurs during the Holiday Season.

MBS Cleaning Tip of the Day: 3/6/18 Save time cleaning the shower! Wanna save time cleaning your shower? Clean the Shower while taking a shower. Clean the shower first then.. Clean yourself! I would use the harsh chemicals with extreme caution! LOL! Complete two tasks at once! Try it! It will save you time!

MBS Cleaning Tip of The Day: 3/5/18 Dryer sheets the PERFECT duster! Dryer sheets can be used as the perfect duster! Dryer sheets have a anti-cling property which make them great for use on electronics, TV & computer/laptop screens. Just go over the area with the dryer sheet and it will instantly pick up all dust! They are also GREAT for dusting baseboards

MBS Cleaning Tip Of The Day: 2/28/18 Clean & Fresh smelling bathroom Keep your bathroom and toilet clean and fresh smelling by adding a few splashes of Pine-Sol in toilet. You can also put a few splashes of Pine-Sol in the bottom of the toilet brush container to maintain that lemony fresh smelling toilet brush! Not only does this help to deodorize your toilet brush but is a quick and easy way to disinfect your bathroom! Keep that Bathroom lemony fresh with Pine-Sol!

MBS Cleaning Tip Of The Day: 2/26/18 The many faces of Vinegar Vinegar is often used in the chemical makeup of many of the household clean products you have in your home. On its own , white vinegar can be a very useful and effective green alternative to some of the other chemicals you can buy in the stores. ... Here is a sample of effective cleaning uses for vinegar: - Mix vinegar with baking soda to remove oil from your stove top - Completely soak a cleaning rag with vinegar then sprinkle with baking soda to clean showers/tubs. Rinse then rub dry with clean cloth for a clean shine - Bring one cup vinegar and one tablespoon baking soda to boil in teapot or coffee pot to remove mineral deposits - Pour undiluted white vinegar into your toilet and let it sit for five minutes then flush and scrub for a clean deodorized toilet - Mix vinegar and warm water in a 10:1 solution in a spray bottle. Use to clean glass or mirrors The cleaning uses for vinegar are plentiful! Try some the above suggestions today!

Cleaning Tip of the Day: 2/22/18 Less is More! Always follow the manufacturer's instruction for use of all cleaning products. Sometimes we think that if we add more cleaner to our mop water/bucket or spray extra cleaner on surfaces it will help get the floor or surface cleaner. This NOT true. Often times over using cleaners can cause damage to surfaces or leave a film on your floors/surfaces. Most times the manufacturer will put instructions for use of their product for "heavily soiled" floors or surfaces. More is NOT better!
