At the end of sugaring season we are usually pretty tired and always tend to do only the necessary cleaning and walk out, close the doors and not look back until fall time. Boxes accumulate, things don't get put in their proper place, floors need to be swept and mopped etc etc. BUT when you find out 2 Senators and an Assemblyman are going to stop for a visit at your sugarhouse you spruce things up a little. She sure is pretty when she is shiny.

We are rolling! Stop out and see us. We have syrup hot off the press and soft serve ice cream ready to go!

Sap has been flowing at full throttle. Boiling through the night certainly makes for a pretty picture. It's better in person though. If the steam is rolling, we are boiling. Stop out and visit. Maybe get some syrup bottled hot off the evaporator!
