One of our members taught us how to do a North African dance while delivering her Level 3 speech during our last meeting! Join us on October 6th at 6 PM EST for our next meeting and you can also share your passion with us while developing your public speaking skills. See you then!

Our meeting, attended by guests from far away, featured a very moving speech "Home is Where the Heart is" by Vince Chau, about the great importance of friendships in our lives.

Last night, our meeting featured two provocative and memorable speeches: "Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness" by Kevin Carroll, and "Acres of Diamonds" by Annmarie Nowbath. Congratulations to Metro New York!

During last night's ZOOM meeting, we welcomed international guests who joined us from India and Japan. Memorable speeches included: Don’t Split the Baby in Half by Tigist Katema, about King Solomon's insight into conflict resolution, and "Does Your Paradigm Control You?" by Annmarie Nowbath, on how to change your paradigm in order to improve your life.

Metro NY club members featured in New York Times, dining at Cafe China. Storytelling! Artie Bennett dazzled us with a vivid and amusing reading of his marvelous book "Peter Panda Melts Down." Artie is the author of nine acclaimed children's books, and is also one of the most astute and clever grammarians of District 46! http://www.artiebennett.com/books.html

Artie Bennett's speech about the invasion of his apartment by bedbugs was both horrifying and hilarious! "We Were Stricken with Terror - and We'd Never Felt So Alone" was vividly and masterfully presented by Artie, who concluded with this inspiring life-lesson: "Sleep tight...and don't let the bed bugs bite!"

Min Zou's speech "An Airbnb Guest" highlighted her favorite way to find the best accommodations as a traveler - she was enthusiastic, informative and inspiring!

Using Toastmaster skills on Christmas...A reading from the Book of the Prophet Isaiah.... See, the Lord proclaims to the ends of the earth: say to daughter Zion, your Savior comes...
