Metropolitan Commercial Bank 16.12.2020

Metropolitan Commercial Bank employees recently spent a day volunteering and serving lunch at Harmonia House, a housing shelter operated by the non-profit organization, Services for the Underserved. During their visit, Bank’s representatives helped serve lunch and also helped in the facility’s kitchen preparing the next day’s lunch and dinner meals. The Bank also donated turkeys for the Thanksgiving holiday to Harmonia House as well as Services for the Underserved’s Bronx and Brooklyn temporary housing shelters. Metropolitan Commercial Bank recently donated funds to purchase ten Thanksgiving dinners for local families in need in the Great Neck community, including a turkey and all the additional fixings of the holiday dinner. The donation was made through the Rotary Club of Great Neck’s holiday program, now in its 30th year, which focuses on developing a sense of community and togetherness during the holiday season. Metropolitan Commercial Bank Vice President and Relationship Manager Ralph Ventura (pictured left) worked with Roger Chizever of the Great Neck Rotary Club (pictured right) to bring this holiday cheer to the ten deserving families. Metropolitan Commercial Bank’s Great Neck banking center team recently joined Great Neck Plaza Mayor Jean Celender, Village Trustee Gerry Schneiderman and hundreds of community residents for Motown music with The Sugar and Spice Band. The concert, hosted in the Jonathon L. Ielpi Firefighters’ Park, was part of Great Neck Plaza’s 2019 Summer Concert Series. This is the fourth summer the Bank has sponsored the Great Neck Plaza Concert Series. The sponsorship is one of the many ...community-oriented initiatives across the New York metropolitan region the Bank undertakes throughout the year in its efforts to give back to the communities it serves. Metropolitan Commercial Bank recently hosted its second Bank on Art Showcase at its Upper East Side banking center with second graders from the Ramaz Lower School. The students, joined by their families, viewed their displayed superhero self-portraitseach highlighting that there is a superhero in all of us. At the event, Bank representatives offered each attending family a $25 certificate good for redemption when opening a savings account for their student-artist.... The artwork seen here can be viewed at The Bank's 1270 Lexington Avenue banking center through the end of July.
