May 19, 2021 STATEMENT ON MASKS: Middletown Thrall Library’s priority during the COVID-19 pandemic has been, and remains, the health and safety of our staff and the community we serve. The library will continue to require masks on library property as we await advisement from the New York State Department of Health following their review of the NYS/CDC ruling. We will reevaluate our mask requirement based on the information we receive from NYSDOH. Thank you for your continued cooperation with our health and safety protocols. Matt Pfisterer, Director

Do your eyes deceive you??? No they don’t! We are trying out Books on Tap in person for the first time since February of 2020! Get your copy of the book and join us at @orangecountydistillery. We will be observing all safety protocols and staying outside as long as the weather holds. Make sure to register and we’ll actually SEE you there!

New year, slightly different Books on Tap! We’re continuing our virtual book discussion group for now. Hopefully the new year brings us the ability to meet again in person soon! Until then, we are having a great time online, so don’t forget to register and grab your curbside copy or download an e-version from Overdrive!

**An Update to Our Angel Tree** Because we are going back to curbside, we were worried about getting these angels out to the public. If you want to participate in our angel program, check our front doors and windows! Angels will be posted there for the choosing and our helpful security staff will be happy to hand them off to you! Let’s empty our Angel Tree!!!

SIGH!! Boy are we NOT happy about this and we have so loved seeing all your faces again. But we are always trying to keep the health and safety of our community in mind. As of tomorrow, November 20, we are returning to curbside ONLY for the foreseeable future. We are STILL giving out angels from our angel tree, you just need to request one with your curbside order. Please call if you have any questions.
