Ultimately the goal is to make sure every event is classy af. Mission Accomplished. This is a 3 year old birthday event called and Upsherin where a boy whose hair has never been cut is finally shorn. I call it and event because it isn’t a typical kids party, it’s a a life milestone shared with family and friends of all ages. Today is a great day to have a great day!

Instagram shows up in our daily lives. Even though we know that everything posted is curated and very intentionally filtered there is still this the human side of us that compares. I hear it from clients all the the time. We compare our deep developed insides with someone else’s outside, the superficial outer layer that is being shared. Instagram is the part of life that I want you to see, that I’m proud of, that was crafted to look very specifically the way it does. What it ...leaves out is everything that is REAL life, the cost that it takes to show up like that, and the struggles that underline this ‘perfect’ sense of reality. Not to take away from all the moments shared, they have a lot of value, but they are only PART of the story. They are the moments when I am calm with my children, enjoying an interactive activity and not when I am losing it because I asked you to get dressed ten times and you’re still twiddling your thumbs. It’s the moments that I pose smiling with my husband, not the argument about our finances. It’s that perfect picture of a flawless table set for chag, not including the anxiety, expectations and self deprivation that it took to create it. We show up to this platform with our whole self, as our complex, multidimensional selves and then compare ourselves to the very limited part of what we are exposed to. Remember that you are awesome, and that everyone out there is awesome and awesomeness comes with all the challenges and beauty that makes us a whole human!! Let’s be kind to ourselves. See more

More then the details that lend itself to the overall esthetic, it is the relationship we develop with our clients. For us it’s about YOU, getting to know your hopes and dreams; working together to uplift space so it reflects what you want to share. What questions does this answer for you?

Detach with love. I find that this idea comes up for me in many ways in my life. For right now it’s letting go of the past and accepting the present as face value. Detaching from all the things you WHERE and seeing you for who you ARE, with all the growth, efforts and humaness that it takes to BE to show up as YOU!
