Rally with us in person in Albany this Thursday, 5/20 at 12:30 pm ET to encourage New York State lawmakers to pass the bill. ... Survivors of sexual abuse deserve a chance at justice no matter how old they were or how long ago the abuse occured. There are many reasons why survivors don’t come forward right away, including trauma, financial dependence, and fear of retaliation. That’s why we’re pushing for the passage of the #AdultSurvivorsAct, which would create a one-year window for time-barred adult survivors of sexual abuse to pursue justice in the courts.
