Day 14 in the 100 day pursuit of transformation... Todays 2 hour practice was a Tejas (strengthening) TriYoga flow. I am working on my Cobra Bows now as well as more advanced pranayama practices. I did my functional movement before hand to open myself up. It really makes a difference. Walking is planned for afternoon tonight.
100 day challenge ~ join me in celebrating my 60th birthday and my quest for higher living! 100 days (I have started already) of daily yoga ( a spiritual practice ), walking (cardio and pleasure) and functional movement (working on the infrastructure). So far, it has gone pretty well though it has proved a bit more challenging to get all 3 practices in each day. Today ~ a walk after dinner and then yoga ~ I just finished a 1.5 hour yoga practice ~ Surya Namaskar with pra...nayama and meditation. I am off to bed now ~ I am hoping for great sleep and pleasant dreams. I invite you to join me and post as you go along. Lets inspire each other!!

Notes: Begin and end each practice with knees to chest :-) Leg Stretch Kriya and then hold Asana with ankle rotations Bridge Roll Kriya and then hold Asana (block under pelvis for support) Hip Side Stretch Asana Finish with reclined Butterfly, Knees to Chest, Deep Relaxation Enjoy your day!
