Today is the primary for elections. One important one is the Fulton County Sheriff Election. I wanted to take a moment and ask for your vote for Re-elect Richard Giardino for Sheriff. When I was Executive Director for Crime Stoppers I communicated with Sheriff Giardino several times and found that he truly cares about the community and is passionate about public safety. Sometimes all the experience in one thing is not the best situation. Since elected he has made big improvem...ents in public safety including his boat and snowmobile patrols. I disagree with the article written from the The Leader-Herald Online In fact they missed characterized me in their profile for my election and would not change it. I found out it’s because the writer is very biased in elections. Not only does Rich communicate clearly he is very vocal on hot topics and Public Safety on social media which is important. Last, my biggest concern with Giardino’s opponent is that he allegedly has been involved in secret investigations on public and private citizens including myself in my own election in the capacity of a PI. The public doesn’t need a person like that in office. The public needs to trust the sheriff and not wonder if there’s rogue operations going on.
