At 4:12PM, the HFD and Town of Wappinger Ambulance was dispatched for a one car rollover auto accident into the woods on New Hamburg Road. Both Assistant Chiefs... (45-2/45-3) and Town of Wappingers Medic 1 were on scene within minutes to find, one car on its side, off the roadway with all occupants out of the vehicle. Tom from Mommas Towing literally saved me late Saturday night, early Sunday morning. He worked through the very early morning hours to help me get through to US...AA Roadside Assistance. I was stuck at the Garrison train station with a car that did not have four-wheel-drive. There was no way for me to get an Uber or a taxi because of the harsh winter weather. My 3 Young kids were at home with the babysitter and my husband was away on business. Tom was very professional and persistent. He even followed up with me the next day to make sure I was OK. Once again, Democrats have chosen to target the law-abiding gun owners of our state in order to push a political narrative instead of actually addressing the real crux of gun violence. Nine out of ten crimes committed with guns are done with illegal firearms. However, Democrats continually neglect these statistics and refuse to go after these criminals. Instead, they choose to go after the law-abiding citizens of New York and assault our Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms. These measures range from the unnecessarily duplicative to the theoretical and blatantly unconstitutional. I swore an oath to support and defend the constitution, and I question whether or not some of my colleagues have even read it.
