@drinkcaiman Up to the Bronx again with old friend @sibsnyc. Someone who has been collecting records since high school, treasures his Aaliyah album, and smokes cigars while listening to Nothing but the Rest, or The Blueprint. We went to @moodiesrecords on White Plains Rd. Small, Caribbean vibes, and one of those incredible spots where you’ll find all of the things you didn’t expect to see. Piles of vinyl everywhere; you’ll have to move over a few tubs of Jamaican castor ...oil, some turmeric remedy drinks, sorrel juices, and various products. We both purchased a few albums, and told them to be in the look out for a few specific items just in case. Go buy some records, come through not looking for anything specific, then go check out any of the African or Jamaican spots on the block for lunch. We both got an Otis record.
