Todd's Great Auk 17 hits the water.

Today in the boat shop we're building doors. Cedar and Okoume plywood for an outdoor shed. They'll be coated with epoxy before being painted.

Big news from Moonlight Marine! We have now entered the daylight and can take care of your boating needs full time.

Update on a couple of projects. On the left is the first coat of varnish on Todd's Great Auk 17. On the right is Kevin's Shrike. I had to remove and raise the front deck to accommodate his prosthesis. It took a bit of torturing to get the new plywood to do what we needed it to do. We'll be eliminating the front hatch as there is no longer a flat surface for it. I've added a access plate to the front bulkhead and a carbon/kevlar layer where his heels contact the hull.

Work continues on Todd's Great Auk 17. Hatches cut and rims installed. The stock cockpit was too small so we have enlarged it and are constructing a custom coaming.
