Having a bit of fun at MOST today with our team sporting (pun intended) a jersey, shirt, or hat from their favorite sports teams! We even were able to get a Boston fan to stand between a couple of Yankees fans.
With the start of summer and the warm weather we are experiencing, I am going to let you in on a secret: our team of MOST Physical Therapists may be able to add pool exercises to your at-home regiment! During your appointment, be sure to ask your PT about how to adapt your at-home workout to be performed in the water. Not only is it refreshing in this heat, it's easier on your joints and it also provides resistance to movements, which helps to strengthen muscles!
MOST PHYSICAL THERAPY is looking for a FT/PT Physical Therapy technician in our Millbrook office starting in early August. Minimum hours available are Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays 9-5. There may be more hours if someone wants full-time. There is no prior experience necessary, but it would be helpful. You must have good people skills and an interest in working with the elderly. The job involves scheduling patients, transporting patients, and cleaning the treatment area. It is a fun team to work with and a chance to break into the medical field. Salary and benefits commensurate with experience.

It's about the CORE this month and we are working on doing 60 minutes of planks EACH in June! Your core helps to stabilize, balance, and power the body during just about every other activity and planks are one of the best exercises for your core! A strong core reduces the stress on the joints and allows you to achieve better posture as well. So join Colby, Kyle, Bobbie, Ryan, and the rest of the MOST Team and see if you can complete 60 minutes of planks this month too! (Even if you don't quite meet the goal, you will still be doing great things for your body!)
