Ferd Vetare will forever be remembered as the Lion King of the Mt. Kisco Lions Club. His dedication to our community and endless energy was an inspiration to all who had the honor to have known him. Ferd was a living example of honesty, integrity and devotion. The Town / Village of Mt. Kisco has lost one of the most respected citizens and we will keep him in our hearts, thoughts and prayers. RIP Ferd. Visitations will be at Oekler & Sinatra Funeral Home, 262 E. Main Street Mount Kisco on Thursday, July 9, from 4pm to 8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Mount Kisco, on Friday, July 10, at 10am. Burial will follow immediately at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Somers, NY.
