Thanks to the Erie-Niagara Sunrise Exchange Club of Tonawanda and the Boy Scouts for bringing Wreaths Across America to us today despite the cold rain & wind.

Please note that the national press release linked here has the wrong time. The ceremony will be at 2 pm and due to the weather we will be inside our Holy Family Mausoleum behind the St. Michael’s Veteran Section.

A cold rainy day today but tomorrow looks better for our Memorial Day Mass at 10am. Bring your own chair and dress accordingly, could be cool and breezy but hopefully we won't be dodging any sprinkles. We hope to see you tomorrow!

From pots and pans and spoons and whisks to coffee cans and popcorn tins and a screwdriver, grief support participants enjoyed an outdoor evening of Healthy Rhy...thms Drum Circle led by Carolyn Zimmerman. With masks on and safely socially distancing, participants found a great way to alleviate the stress and anxiety of grief as well as the added anxiety from the covid-19 pandemic! This gives families more opportunities to find their final resting place in the same mausoleum near loved ones where space is limited. Even in the roughest times like a pandemic, Grief Support is needed! So, following CDC regulations and Catholic Cemetery procedures to ensure everyone's safety..., Grief Support Meetings were limited in size and held outdoors. This photo was taken by one of our Family Service Counselors and it caught everyone's attention with the spectral image off to the right. What do you think it is??? Then we realized.... it was the reflection of a face mask.
