Registration is open and spots are filling up quickly for both our Rocky Point and Mt. Sinai Summer Buddies programs! As a reminder, the $50 registration fee is... waived through May 31st. Several community members who frequent our beautiful park have graciously volunteered to help keep the outside bathrooms cleaned and disinfected so that we are able to make them available to park goers on a regular basis. Details to follow but many thanks to these amazing ladies for stepping up

The spring is a time for new beginnings and that couldn’t be truer after the last year where COVID changed how we spent our free time. We are looking forward to getting together once again at Heritage Park and resume some of our favorite community gatherings. While we were all unable to enjoy the community center and park for almost a year, it was an opportunity for us to seek out other organizations with similar missions so when it’s time to reopen we can come back stronger.... We are excited to announce a new partnership with NSYC. The youth council needs more space to expand their services and the Heritage Center provides a perfect second home for them. This year we will combine efforts with them for our summer camp program and provide more summertime concerts and movie nights. We are looking forward to bringing back the carnival and with a bigger team we can do so much more.

A big thank you to Koch Tree Service for decorating our beautiful Christmas tree, the Mount Sinai Fire Department for using their trucks to bring Santa to help us celebrate and for all the wonderful families in our community who joined us to celebrate the tree lighting on Sunday. The tree will remain lit throughout the season and we invite you all to come by and enjoy it. Wishing everyone a wonderful and safe Holiday Season

SUNDAY DECEMBER 6TH - 5 PM The Holiday's will be a bit different in 2020. So many traditions have been put on hold but the safer we stay now will allow us all ...to enjoy the days we can spend time together. While our traditional Christmas Tree Lighting will NOT include hot chocolate, cookies, singing or photos with Santa we are very pleased to invite the community to help Santa, who will arrive on Fire Truck, light our beautiful tree for the season. It will be an OUTSIDE ONLY event held on Sunday Dec 6th at 5 pm sharp. Social Distancing and Masks are required.
