Hamilton County Public Health has issued a statement regarding a Covid-19 positive individual who was at the Geiger Arena on Friday, January 1 between 2pm and 3pm. The Geiger Arena is closed until Thursday, at 2:30pm.

Black Bear, a movie starring Aubrey Plaza from NBC Parks & Recreation and directed Lawrence Michael Levine, was shot in Long Lake, NY in the summer of 2019. This film made it's Sundance Premiere on January 24, 2020. Keep your eyes peeled and see if you can spot the Long Lake baseball cap, a High Peaks trail guide and the Long Lake logo in the credits. While here some of the cast and crew bunked at local lodgings, enjoyed catering from the Long Lake Diner, worked with our lifeguards, hired local medics and worked with others in and around the area to help stage and bring the film to life. Congratulations to the film makers on the debut and we wish them success. This movie is available for rent or purchase on Amazon Prime Videos, Apple TV or YouTube platform for $5.99.
