In accordance with guidance from the New York State Health Department, North Country Kids is reminding families and providers that Telehealth remains the preferred method of providing therapy at this time. We are encouraging all providers to conduct telehealth services as possible to protect both families and providers and help limit the spread of the virus. Although Telehealth is not ideal in all situations, the feedback we have received from providers is mostly promising w...ith often added benefits to Teletherapy over in-person services. We ask that you continue to respect each provider’s individual choice to conduct in-home versus Telehealth services. As an agency, we recognize that Telehealth is not always easy with work schedules, limited technology, and older children at home learning remotely. If we work together we can find solutions to some of these problems to ensure your children receive the best possible treatment during this pandemic. As we continue to monitor developments with COVID-19 and the increase in cases we encourage you to continue to be diligent with safety precautions including hand washing, proper use of masks and disinfecting. Continue to notify providers if anyone in your home is sick and be prepared to change from in-person services to Telehealth at any time. We hope your family health and happiness over this Thanksgiving season.

It is with sadness that we announce that Governor Cuomo has closed school through the end of the year. It is hard to imagine that so many of our sweet little students will not return to our school. Our teachers and support staff will continue to work diligently to provide your children with remote learning. Please reach out with any questions and concerns you may have. In reference to summer programming,, Cuomo will make a decision by the end of May.. Be well and stay safe.
