As I was reading a prophetic post this morning, I had a picture pass by in my mind. There were a lot of people huddled around a small campfire and it was very dark around them. The single camp fire was the only light to hold back the darkness. Then each person took a fire brand from that campfire and moved off a distance into the darkness and built themselves a campfire. What a difference that made! The darkness was still there, but from every campfire there was anot...her campfire visible! As blood bought followers of Christ, we are instructed to "Let our light shine". This does not mean just while we are huddled together in the Church house! We're to go out into the darkness and let our lights shine! People will be drawn out of the darkness into the light. Matthew 5:16 - "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and Glorify your Father which is in Heaven!" 1 Peter 2:9 - "But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;"

When doubt tells you that you can’t do something because it’s too hard, remember God says you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. (Phil. 4:13) When doubt tells you that you’re not good enough, focus on the truth that God says you’re fearfully and wonderfully made; all of His works are wonderful and you are one of them (Ps. 139:14) ( From a confidant heart devotional by Renee Swope)
