I like to be kind to dancers I work with. It doesn’t mean I haven’t trained very hard and danced with some extraordinary artists. It’s important to have teachers who push your limits with your best interest at heart. Many people think ballet has to be unkind to be correct. I hope together with inspiring stories of achievement, we can prove this theory wrong. The world needs kindness and inspiring art now more then ever. If you are hungry to dance seriously and work hard with humility and professionalism, I would love to hear your story! I’m looking for people who NEED to dance and have an inspiring story to share. Sunday 4pm EST on @mnnnyc channel 2 Tune in for Our World Nutcracker! On behalf of our international cast, we are honored to have @ibsiesballerina dance as our Sugar Plum Fairy! Elisabeth Beyer was born in New York, NY. She began her classical ballet training at age 7 with the Greenwich Ballet Academy. At age 13, she joined the Ellison Ballet Professional Training Program. In 2017, Elisabeth received the Natalia Makarova Award for Artistry at the YAGP NYC Finals and won First Prize at the XIII Moscow IBC in Russia. In 2018, Elisabeth won the Gold Medal at the YAGP NYC Finals and the Gold Medal at the USA IBC XI in Jackson. She has received scholarships and invitations to galas around the world. Elisabeth joined the ABT Studio Company in February 2020.
