This Sunday, July 15, we will experiment with different opening hours. Come by and see us between 2 and 5 PM. We don’t really need more donations at the moment, but would love to give more books away! See you tomorrow...

We made good headway on organizing and cleaning the Book Exchange space over the past couple of weeks. Stay tuned for future Book Exchange hours as well as outside events where we will have tables of free books. The next firm commitment is for the Newburgh Illuminated Festival on June 2 and we are seeking volunteers to sit at our location there. Please send us a message if you are interested. Also, please let us know if you have books to donate to the Book Exchange so we can make arrangements. Happy Spring!

The Newburgh Book Exchange at the Fullerton Center is now closed for the winter, although we will be in and out to receive, sort, and take out books for distribution. We do look forward to seeing you at various local (and for now indoor, I hope) events where we will be giving out books. We will post those events as they come up. If you know of an event that would benefit by having us or if you would like an assortment of books for a school, community center, etc., please writ...e to Becky Fernandez at [email protected]. Likewise, if you have books to donate, please get in touch with Becky. We will continue to need volunteers from time to time and hope, especially as we approach the spring and summer, to cultivate a larger core group.
