Such a great turnout for our first Scarecrow Building Festival! Thanks to all who came out to take part in the festivities! Check out some pictures of the fantastic scarecrows that were made and will be posted around town!

**Important Notice- Scarecrow Building Festival- Sunday, October 18th** Due to the possible muddy conditions of the Recreation Field, we will be moving the Scarecrow Building Festival to the South Lot of the train station (behind Town Hall- where we have held our drive-in movie nights). To get to the South Lot, when entering the train station from South Greeley, continue straight and make a left at Bobo's Cafe. Continue down to the end of the lot. You will see signs for p...arking. You can also get to the South Lot by making a right onto Allen Place off of Washington Avenue. Thanks and we are excited to see you there! Bring your creativity, as well as your appetite and dancing shoes for the food trucks and live DJ!

If you are picking up your scarecrow kit today, please be sure to pick up from 9am to 12:30pm or 2:30pm to 4:00pm today at the garage at Town Hall! Please note we will NOT be doing pickup between 12:30pm and 2:30pm today. Email Brittany at [email protected] or call (914)438-6090. Thanks!

Scarecrow Building Festival- Sunday, October 18th!

The New Castle Recreation and Parks Department is excited to partner with the Council on Race & Equity for another installment of our drive in movie nights to be held at the Chappaqua Train Station! This event is for TOWN OF NEW CASTLE RESIDENTS ONLY Free Admission - Only 1 ticket per car load required (ticket and proof of residency must be presented upon entering)... Saturday, October 3rd Black Panther Showtime will be 7:30pm unless otherwise noted. Parking lot will open 1 hour before the start of the movie. A big shout out to Brady an EPIC Ambassador who made the first ever basket on the new court!!

The New Castle Recreation & Parks Dept is excited to announce the completion of our new playground and basketball court located behind Town Hall! Unfortunately, due to NYS Guidelines pertaining to COVID 19 we are unable to open the basketball courts just yet, but hope to do so sooner than later! The playground however, is open and ready!!
