In this mesmerizing interactive WebXR experience, the interstitium is the liminal space where reality shifts, challenging us to harness the power of our radical imagination. Dip into this primordial pool and find innovative artists working at the intersection of art, film, science, music, and technology. They are divining inspiration from Octavia Bu...tler and creating portals on your desktop to alternate dimensionsmaking the invisible visible. This beautiful work of creative foresight, insight and hindsight was developed by five groundbreaking Black artistsNEW INC members Stephanie Dinkins, Ari Melenciano, and Idris Brewster, along with Terence Nance, Sophia Nahli Allison. The project brings new insights on our collective reality, informed by African values and logic systems, in the hopes of helping humanity balance the approach in designing our collective future. The project emerged from a partnership between NY Live Arts and the Guild of Future Architects Foundation (GoFA) designed to foster inclusive collaboration and co-creation of ideas about the future of the African Diaspora, and premiered this January at Sundance Film Festival New Frontier. https://bit.ly/3eJKlCP
