The New Rochelle YMCA and the Alliance of New York State YMCAs is proud to present YMCA Healthy Kids Day 2021, a virtual event from New York State’s YMCAs. YMCAs from across New York State came together to produce a virtual YMCA Healthy Kids Day event for children and families. Thanks to the hard work of our volunteers and our friends from #FeedingWestchester, we had another successful mobile food pantry event. Over 400 New Rochelle residents were given packages of green beans, squash, yogurt, meat and other healthy groceries. Thank you to everyone who came - we could not have done it without you!

Tomorrow (Saturday, April 24th) the facility will be closing at 3:00PM for staff trainings. The aquatics center and the fitness center will not be accessible at... this time. We will operating under normal hours on Sunday. Also, on Thursday, April 29th from 3:30PM to 5:30PM we will be hosting another Feeding Westchester mobile food pantry in our parking lot. The parking lot will not be accessible from 3:00PM to 6:00PM. Members and staff are asked to use street parking at this time. Thank you for your support!

It’s Fast, It’s Fun, It’s FUTSAL! Join us starting on Saturday, May 1st for Futsal with Malcolm. Futsal is an indoor soccer program that emphases strategy, passing and ball control in a smaller court. Youth looking to develop their soccer skills will be challenged to develop skills and strategies that help them out-think and out-perform the other team. Tomorrow (Monday, April 19th) the aquatics center will be closed for the morning. All classes and services including lap swim and aquacise will be canceled for the morning. We anticipate reopening the aquatics center around noon. We will issue updates via our website and Facebook.

A huge shoutout to all of our volunteers, staff and our friends from Feeding Westchester who made today a resounding success. From our initial estimates we distributed over 5,000 lbs of fresh fruit, vegetables and meat to local families in New Rochelle. Thank you all for making today possible!

Are you looking for a low-impact night class that can help you increase your cardio and burn calories quickly? Try Spinning, one of the many group exercise classes offered at the New Rochelle Y. We currently offer classes several times a week including Tuesday evenings at 6:00PM. We hope to see you in the studio!

This Friday (11/20) at 7:00PM we're excited to offer a demo class of Hip-Hop, a high energy dance class that promises to get your heart racing. This is a class we're thinking of offering going forwards in our group exercise schedule and we'd love your opinion. Give it a try!

Tonight is the first night of the Westchester County Budget Public Hearings. We've got new classes starting next week! Join us starting Monday, November 16th for Bodypump (TM) with Tamika. This group exercise class challenges all of your major muscle groups by using the best weight-room exercises such as squats, presses, lifts and curls. This will help you achieve strength and introduce lean body muscle conditioning. This class is included with membership at the New Rochelle YMCA and part of our weekly suite of group exercise classes.
