Over the Valentine’s Day Weekend, we received numerous cards, gifts, and artwork from local groups! Thank you to our Wonderful Community! Amanda and her thoughtful children, from Homeschool with a Pinch of Army - beautiful flowers!... Cub Scouts Pack 6 Basket of Ghirardelli Chocolate for staff and Gift bags with Body Care Products and Chocolate for all residents. Washingtonville Middle School National Honor Society Jar of Kisses & Handmade cards for all residents San Miguel School Handmade cards for all residents. Cornwall Girl Scouts Handmade cards for all residents. Group of 5 Teenagers led their school district, including students from the Fort Montgomery Elementary School, Highland Falls, Intermediate School, and High School, with the Valentines Day Card Project. They then delivered these cards to all residents and drew beautiful pictures on the windows and the parking lot. Mark, Don’s Nephew Valentine’s Day Cookies NYS Senator James Skoufis - Coordinated a project for kids in our local schools to send handmade cards to all residents. *Thank you to our thoughtful and generous members of our community who may have anonymously donated to our home* Our seniors were SO surprised! Thank you for thinking of them. Many said they were so happy to receive the cards and gifts, some nearly brought to tears. We hope that your Valentine's Weekend was as special as you made theirs!!

Health Commissioner of Orange County Department of Health for precautions due to Orange County case increase. Visitation is suspended until further notice Building requirements remain the same: essential workers/medical providers with testing and screening to enter. ... Residents who are required to leave for urgent matters will be quarantined and isolated for 14 days upon return. They are required to take a COVID test at the end of the 14 days. When the negative test result is received, they can return to routines outside of their room in the facility. All families/emergency contacts and residents have been notified.
