UPDATE ON THE NEEDS OF BUTTONWOOD HILLS RESIDENTS: No more toiletries are needed. As we can tell so far, not many of the donations are suitable sizes for famil...y C. If you’re working with an organization, please consider donating one of the items below if you haven’t already, or even donating a gift card so that clothing can be purchased for them. Once we are done sorting all of these donations, we will provide another update on what items are still needed. Thank you all for this amazing outpouring of community, love, and kindness. Are you an energetic, fun and engaging early childhood professional? We are interested in bringing on new members to our winning team! We are seeking experienced educators to join our well-established, 12-month childcare center in Middletown. We offer children a warm, rich, high-quality learning experience which celebrates the individuality of each child. Our warm, positive environment values students and staff alike and provide best practice from infancy through School Age.... We are seeking special candidates for immediate hire to join our team of Wonderful Teachers. Candidates will work with students in ages from 3 months to five years old in programs as needed. The scheduled hours range from 630am 6pm Monday through Friday. Qualified candidates will be reliable, responsible and have a passion for educating children. In addition, candidates will: -MUST LOVE CHILDREN -Lead Teacher - CDA or Associates Degree from an accredited college or program -Support Staff - Minimum requirement is a high school diploma - have clear understanding of child development - have a strong desire to work with young children - be knowledgeable of child development - be eager to learn and develop on the field of early childhood - be willing to be coached/guided - be able to work closely with a team - have a calm/patient demeanor - be able to carry out the physically demanding work of lifting and holding children for hours and sitting on the floor - relate positively with young children in a mature and responsible fashion. - maintain a professional personal appearance - assists in other capacities, as determined by the Director.

Our school age children are chrome book free this week and are having a blast without them!! This week they made so many fun crafts, homemade gummy bears, homemade pretzels, rice crispy treats with peeps and so much more. We are looking forward to an amazing summer camp to continue the fun!

Moms don’t forget to take a Mother’s Day breakfast bag. There will be a table set up outside the front door of New Wonders. If you are unable to pick one up at drop off please do not hesitate to ask for one when picking up in the afternoon! We wish all of our moms a very happy Mother’s Day!

Two successful days of childcare provider appreciation week!! The team at New Wonders is dedicated to help children grow and learn now more then ever! We can never pay them enough for all that they do for our babies!! We are extremely grateful and blessed to have such a wonderful team!
