Happy Friday from @ArianneBellizaireInteriors! I am so excited to be taking over the @nydc Instagram in collaboration with the @blackinteriordesignersnetwork to share my inspiration behind this master bedroom! It was designed to be a calm, restful oasisexuding effortlessly cool vibes while enveloping its inhabitants in comfort. With a custom wall color that has just the right mix of blue, green, gray tones and the dusty rose velvet headboard, this room looks and feels like it could be a penthouse suite at a luxury hotel. This model for the Brandon Maxwell 2020 Spring Collection shows that something that is deceptively simple can still pack a major impact! Want to learn more? Hello from @andre_jordan_hilton! As part of the @blackinteriordesignersnetwork, I wanted to share this bold, layered, sophisticated and curated look I love! This formal living room was inspired by the median between fashion, timeless luxury and the outdoors. The home is adorned with large windows framing the beautiful trees surrounding. The idea was to bring the outdoors in, with a pop of color and maximum luxury. The gown was the initial inspiration for the space. The branch bead and printed pattern engulfs the entire gown creating something magical. That's what I felt the wallpaper would do for the space. It is a room that speaks to past and present and is a representation of a modern take on a classic yet traditional style. Join me at Cocktails and Conversations at 4:30PM on IG Live for more sneak peeks and tips!

Hello@MikelWelch, here! As part of the @blackinteriordesignersnetwork, I wanted to join the @nydc takeover and share with you one of my favorite designs: the lower level for a project in Brooklyn Heights. I wanted to create a masculine, moody yet inviting environment that was meant for entertaining guests. I opted for a rich matte navy-blue paint for all of the walls. I knew instantly that the entire room would need to be one solid color to invoke the moodiness that I envisioned for the space. I decided to keep the ceiling white, so the room didn’t feel cave-like. The biggest design featuring ended up being the most affordable element in the room. I sourced several vintage books and removed the hardcovers to expose the beautiful patina on the spines. Hi, I'm @CasaVilora! Kicking off today's @blackinteriordesignersnetwork takeover, I wanted to share this dining room project. We were going for a very moody, vintage vibe based on the client's existing table and chairs. The wallpaper was chosen to create the vintage vibe along with the smoky antique mirror on the feature wall. We layered the sculptural dolphin mirror for an unexpected effect that was more like a piece of art. The result is a space where the furniture stands out and makes a statement yet works as a cohesive element in the space. Want to learn more about our #BIDN Masterclass?
