The cemetery is located in Cooper Hollow Wildlife Area on Moriah Road, off Rt 35. A reception will be held following the ceremony in Moriah Church. Please bring a chair

June 12, 2021 FROM: Jean Thomas, Chair As you know, there is no Malad Valley Welsh Festival this year; we hope to get started planning next year’s Festival soon.... However, there is one event scheduled for this year the Adult Poetry Competition and Reading. Ten poets submitted 16 poems to the Competition. The poets will all be invited to read one of their poems at the Malad Valley Welsh Festival Adult Poetry Reading, to be held on Saturday, June 26, at 1:00 p.m. at the Malad LDS Stake Center. You are invited to come to this special event. The winning poet will receive the PATSY PRICE SCOTT POETRY PRIZE. The Scott family established a fund for this prize shortly after Patsy died in November. A check, a certificate, and a Welsh Flag will be presented to the winner by representatives of the Scott family at the conclusion of the program. Please try to come to this one-hour program. We are hoping to get hooked into Zoom so that more people can participate in the program. Thank you!
