We built up a new wheelset and restored all the original components including the complete campy nuovo record groupset. Now it looks showroom new and rides great.
Another exciting nomad mettisse commuter. A 1972 dawes galaxy frame. We converted it to be a urban commuter.
Today's exciting nomad project. A 1985 Ken Evans. Ken Evans is a highly regarded Australian frame builder. He made this bespoke bike for Anthony in 1985. After 36 years of hard riding, Anthony asked us to spruce it up. We repainted the frame and did a full restoration. We bought it back to it's original full suntour superbe pro groupset.

Here she shows off hew new 1976 Astro Daimler Vent Noir Metisse. The frame, seat post and stem are pre - owned. Everything else is new. Thanks Vaccaro and White. https://www.vaccaroandwhite.com/
I'm a big fan of awkward stem shifters . These might just win the gold metal, no?
The latest nomad stool in an exciting new low rider size.
Todays exciting project: We just completed a full restoration of this 1986 Vitus 979. It is in excellent condition, measures 56 cm and sports a full Campagnolo Super Record groupset. real class. And now on sale at only $850
Today's project;. We're branching out. Today I rewired and restored this library desk lamp.
Today's score. A dozen vintage Brooks b72 saddles A must have, no?
Today's score; a Serota colorado. About as good as a steel frame can get. It will be a fantastic build. We need to ditch that ugly color scheme though
Today's score. Who doesn't need a dozen vintage brooks b72 saddles?
Today's exciting nomad project; just finished restoration of this 1985 Benotto track bike. Everything but the pedals and tires are original. It is a 58 cm frame And it's for sale! Only $750. A great Christmas present for that special someone.
Someone got a bit carried away with the Drill They even carved out the derailleur plates. That's class
Another exciting project: Genesis asked us to restore her 1972 Raleigh Sport. We noted that it had been repainted with a broom and was pretty rusty. We spruced it up
Another exciting project: Ray bought this Schwinn varsity in 1972 in Bayside Queens with money he earned on his paper route. He's ridden it ever since. After 48 years it had become rather scruffy. So Nomad completed a full restoration. Now it looks as good as new and is ready for the next 48 years.

For sale: 1970s Univega: This Univega had sat untouched in a neighbor's garage for several decades. It is all original (even the tires) and appears to have been ridden very little if at all. Their is not a scratch or blemish or spec of dirt on it. We gave it a tune up and converted from drop bars to commuter bars and it is as good as new It was made in Japan and has a triple butted chromoly frame and all aluminum components. The frame is 54 cm size. For sale for $400 at Nomad
For Sale: 2018 Bira Thing single speed. Our neighbor paid $600 for this bike in 2018, rode it a half dozen times then it sat untouched. It is in perfect, like new condition. The frame size is 53 cm seat tube. For sale for only $350 at Nomad
Another exciting Nomad project: Jamie found this 1966 Hercules abandoned in his apartment's basement -looks like it spent a few decades there. We applied a heavy dose of Nomad industrial strength elbow grease and it cleaned up pretty nice. Hercules was one of the largest british bike manufacturers but fell on hard times after WWII. They were bought out by Raleigh in 1961 and hercules bikes were raleigh's budget brand.
Another exciting Nomad project: We restored this 2000 BP Stealth time trial bike for our friend Aggie. We upgraded it to a complete Shimano Dura Ace groupset and added the classy spokes wheels. BP Stealth bikes were manufactured by the Taiwanese company Martec and feature a full monocoque carbon fiber frame.
Another exciting Nomad project: we restored this Ross BMX bike for Brian. He likes red.
Another exciting Nomad project: we built this BMX racer up for our young friend Wyatt. This is our first BMX build and it came out not too shabby. Im not sure the maker of the frame, but its pretty classy aluminum with a lot of fancy machining and welding. Note the left hand drive (chainring is on the left side)
1950 Claude Butler Olympic Sprint frame back from painter. Jack Trimble at Franklin frame did a fantastic job.
Today's exciting Nomad project: Melanie asked us to restore her 1975 Schwinn Continental. The Continental was Schwinn's top, high performance model; it weighed only 50 pounds. We noticed that the frame was way too big for Melanie so we employed the patented Nomad frame shrinker tool to reduce the size by 2 inches. We also applied a full 5 gallon pail of extra strength Nomad elbow grease to remove all the rust and grunge. Not too shabby.
Another exciting Nomad project: A not so old Cannondale Slice TT bike. Karim is a competitive Triathlete. He felt the original colors were a bit garish. So we disassembled it, painted it the New York Rainbow and reassembled with these sweet wheels
Another Exciting Nomad project: Aggie brought in her old Trek Y Foil road bike and asked us to refinish it and convert it to a commuter. The only colors she allows on a bike are red, black and white; We used all three here. She included some pretty classy bits - like the Hed tri-spoke wheelset and Metron crakset
New Nomad Finish: We built this Trek up for Sanjib back in 2016. It originally had a black oxide finish. After three years parked outdoors, that had turned into red oxide. Sanjib bought it back to us to re-blacken. But, we realized that the rust looked pretty damn cool. So we removed loose rust and applied an oil and wax finish. It looks not too shabby, no?
