FIRST LADY - The purpose of this song is to promote uplifting our women by encouraging them to envision themselves as the First Lady of the United States, whic...h is a highly respected, and important role and position to lead our nation. When we uplift our women, they enrich our economy; they become better leaders, better Mother’s, better lovers, better people. Women inspire empathy and love and certainly become great mentors. Many view the ‘First Lady’ as the most respected woman in the nation and the First Lady encourages all listeners to believe they can be the most respected woman. Whether the first lady of the U.S. of A., or just a great first lady to a loving partner/spouse, think of themselves as such. We believe when women are motivated and uplifted, especially through politics and music, economies improve because of their ability to have confidence. This in turn allows women to reach their potential, educate other women, raise great children and lead a new generation. If I decided to run for President, would you qualify to be my first lady? The question of qualification is simple, do you believe in yourself? That’s all you need to qualify. Do our women have integrity, good morals, are they respected? The twist to this is it also encourages better relationships. A woman can have a First Lady as well. If I ran for President, I can’t do it without a strong person beside me; my first lady. The reason First Lady works so well is because the term First Lady isn’t specifically for the wife of the male President. There were four Presidents whose wives died before they became President, Jefferson and Jackson for example. In those cases, a daughter, a niece and/or a daughter in law served as the hostess at the White House and they were the First Ladies. We want our women to think big and beyond. (Asking one to be a First Lady, in no way shape or form, does it mean a woman can’t be the President.) It’s not often we don’t have the moment, it’s often we don’t take advantage of the moment or see the opportunity. We see the risk instead. After all we’ve been through, anything else, at this point, is something to learn from, or an opportunity to grow and succeed even further!
