This Memorial Day, we honor the men and women who served our nation and made the ultimate sacrifice.

A new generation of young gardeners is budding at NSYC! Filled with a variety of vegetables and herbs, our youth garden is engaging kids’ natural curiosity ...and helping to cultivate enthusiasm about healthy living and connecting to nature. Youth will be learning responsible gardening techniques, as well as the importance and benefits of gardening! Thank you to Pete and RoseMarie Salamone of Woodside Nursery and Garden Center for the plant donations to help get our garden started! Their generous contribution included two different kinds of tomato plants , eggplant , cucumbers , bell peppers , three different kinds of lettuce , and basil .

Every year during the holiday season, NSYC helps local families in need by collecting toys, clothing, gift cards, and other necessities. To be able to give to those who are facing hardships and fill a child's day with joy is truly rewarding.
